Visitors

Leah had a lot of visitors while she was at the hospital! Aunt Kayla was one of her first visitors after we were in the recovery room. She came down on Saturday night with my nephew Caelen, too. She looks pretty excited to be an aunt!

Uncle Ron wasn't too far behind with his girlfriend Jess. Ron has nicknamed Leah "Goober". I am sure she will appreciate that! I think we will let that one be just something special between the 2 of them, ha-ha.
Becky is a friend of mine that I met in law school. She and her husband Keith recently moved closer to us and we are together quite a bit. Keith and Jeff make for an amusing combination when they are together! Becky hasn't been around babies too much but we will be changing that! Erin and Nick are also friends from law school. Erin was the Maid of Honor in our wedding.

Shannon was friends with both Jeff and I from IUK (before we were together). He was also in our wedding.

This is Amy, a good friend of mine (and now of Jeff 's) that I met when we had a case together soon after I began practicing. Amy brought an adorable outfit with guitars on it for Leah. Needless to say, her daddy loved it!


Amy's mom, Roberta, is the lady that made the beautiful blanket for Leah. She is my "Carmel" mom.
Aunt Jewel (top) and Aunt Jessie (bottom) are very excited to be aunts! I am sure Leah will love them just as much as they love her!

Check out Uncle Jason (Jeff's brother) with his precious niece. Leah is the 1st girl in the Sedberry family. Uncle Jason will be responsible for teaching her all of the un lady like things that she needs to know, ha-ha. Big uncle Jason looks like a teddy bear with her!

Aunt Stacey was very excited to hear that we were pregnant and has been spoiling her for months. Family gatherings should be interesting....fights over who gets the baby! I think Jeff and I already know better than to show up to something without her.


Cousin Evan (6 yrs. old) wasn't too sure about holding her but about one minute into it her said "I think I do like to hold babies". It was adorable.

Cousin Chris (11) was there too but he was happy watching all of the baby holding from a distance. I am sure she will grow on him.

Leah also had visits from 2 of her great grandma's.

Grandma Shanks is actually Virginia LeaMarie (part of the the meaning behind Leah Marie). She is my Mamaw Cox's mom....

Great Grandma Shirley is Papaw Cox's mom...

These 2 great grandma's are best friends and like 2 peas in a pod...

Leah also had visits from Jeff's boss and friend, JJ. More friends, Vanessa, Ashlin and Kim came from Kokomo to see her. I have no idea how my camera missed those visits. Sorry! I am sure we will have another photo opp with them soon.
