More fun in the sun!

Mamaw and Papaw have a baby pool for the grandkids and Leah couldn't wait to try it out! She waited very patiently for it to fill up.





Leah convinced Papaw that he should go swimming with her during her visit. Since she can't talk, that must mean that Papaw wanted to go swimming with her.

Happy 3rd Birthday Savana!

Our niece Savana turned 3 on June 19th. We had an impromptu birthday party for her when we were all at mamaw and papaw's the next weekend. She was very excited to get a singing skunk from mamaw and papaw that I am sure is missing its batteries by now. Savana may be 3 but she is going on about 17 and is everything GIRL. She liked her Dora perfume.

It is fun to watch Leah (a.k.a. Weeah according to Savana and Caelen) interact with her cousins -- they all play very well together.

A play date with Brooke

My friend Kate brought her daughter Brooke over to play. She and Leah are just a few months apart. Their age difference is slowing diminishing as they get a little older. Many people have told us that they look like they could be sisters!



Leah is learning to pet the doggies. Sadly for Brooke, she was also "petting" her head. Brooke was a very patient friend.

Happy Father's Day!

We hope all of the dads out there had a wonderful Father's Day! Leah thinks her DADA is #1 and wanted everyone to know it!

Concert in the park

Leah sealed a permanent spot in the heart of her Gramps when she danced along to the music at the concert in the park. Gramps plays the sax in the Mississinewa Valley Band so I am sure Leah will be in the audience cheering for him a lot over the years.




After the concert, Grams and Leah had their own bonding time.

Splashing and Swinging

By now everyone knows of Leah's love for everything outdoors and everything water! Of course that also means that she loves to go to the Garber's! There are always doggies to watch, people to hug, other babies to play with. Plus......fun things to do outside. Among her top choices are the pool and swing! She hasn't ventured into the sandbox yet.

1st time in the pool!

We were pretty sure she would love it given her love of being outside and bath time. We were right! She actually makes me quite nervous (I know, imagine that - 1st time crazy protective mom nervous around water). She has no fear and went after her toys head first. I have a few videos of her splashing that I will add later.

All about DADA!

We are trying for MAMA but as you can see.....she is all about DADA! That is ok, it is cute.
