Growing too fast!

Leah had her one month check up with the pediatrician a few days early on July 30th. My plan was to ask the doctor if switching back and forth between my milk and formula (due to my surgeries) could cause her any problems. BUT....the nurse weighed her as soon as we got there and she had gained almost 2 lbs in 19 days! I guess that answered my question, ha-ha. Leah weighed 6 lbs, 13 oz. at her one week check-up on July 11th and then weighed...are you ready for this?....8 lbs, 12 oz. on the 30th! This mommy was shocked when I saw the scale!


The doctor was surprised at how cooperative she was during the examination. Other than crying on the scale (which the doctor didn't see), she was not bothered at all. She let the doctor touch her with her cold hands and look into her eyes, nose, ears and diaper without a peep. She is such a happy baby!

Daddy went to Target to get a few things and came home with this outfit. He said it jumped off the shelf at him and she just had to have it. Too cute! (both daddy and the outfit).

So, of course we had to pair this bib with the outfit......


I had to take this next pictst!ure as we were leaving the office just to capture how small she looks in her car seat. I am sure it won't be that way for long. Oh....she is just growing too fast!
