Of course I cried when we put her down that 1st night (are you shocked? I didn't think so). Jeff said I confused him because he thought I would be happy to see her look so small again. His 1st mistake was trying to follow the emotional logic of a new mom, ha-ha. We have a full size bed in the nursery so I made the adjustment by sleeping in there the 1st few nights. I am now happy to report that she sleeps in her bed and I sleep in mine. She is doing wonderful. She sleeps about 6 hours and gets up to eat but then goes right back down for a few more hours. We are finally getting into our morning routine as well. She wakes up such a happy girl (she must get that from me because Jeff is anything but a morning person). I love our one on one time 1st thing in the morning.

The big move
Leah moved from the bassinet in our room to her crib in her room on September 13th. It was a pretty big night around here. I wasn't too sure that I was up for it but as you can see, it was time. She was beginning to touch the sides of the bassinet while she was sleeping.
She went from being a big girl in a small bed to such a small girl in a big bed.

Of course I cried when we put her down that 1st night (are you shocked? I didn't think so). Jeff said I confused him because he thought I would be happy to see her look so small again.
