Time at grandma and grandma's and her 1st pirate party

Grandpa lives in South Bend through the week so he doesn't get to see Leah as often as either of them would like. He had some bonding time with her this weekend.

Of course he had to share and let grandma have some time with her too.

But...he got her back for the traditional "nap in the recliner with grandpa".

Aunt Stacey came by to see her on her way to work. She hadn't seen her since the hospital and couldn't believe how big she has gotten.

Grandma and Grandpa babysat her while mommy and daddy went to our friend BB's 30th birthday party -- with a pirate theme. We took her for a little bit in the beginning so she could see everyone.

I am sure she is going to be questioning me about this picture in the future. Mom! Who was that crazy man?
No, Duff Goldman from Ace of Cakes was not at the party. Our friend Kate made this AWESOME cake. The best part is that it was as delicious as it was awesome.

This is Kimberly and her little pirate Ethan. He was born in May and is sure to be one of Leah's buddies growing up.

We stayed at Grandma and Grandpa's on Saturday night and Leah was still soaking up the attention the next morning.


They did put her down long enough for some play time.

We went back to our friends for a while on Sunday afternoon before heading home.
