Papaw is 50!

Sunday evening we had a surprise birthday party for Papaw to celebrate his 50th birthday. His birthday isn't until the 13th but what better way to pull off a surprise than to have a party early? Leah met several family members that were very excited to see her. Mommy was only a tad bit anal -- I let people hold her, I just carried hand sanitizer in my pocket. No, I won't be a crazy mom but she hasn't had her shots yet. She enjoyed meeting everyone but was definitely tuckered on Monday. She was also very clingy. Does it sound silly to think she just wanted to hold on tight after being passed around so much on Sunday? Either way, we were both happy to oblige with her cuddling requests.

Hey....how did daddy get to hold her? Everyone kept taking her from mommy!

She was wearing a Grandpa loves me bib earlier in the evening to help celebrate the occasion but it didn't last. Aunt Kayla was happy to see this one though.
