I am not sure if adorableness is a word but it is the only one that fits. She was sleeping and mommy wanted to take a shower so I put her in the middle of my king size bed (she would have woke up instantly if I put her in her bassinet). She looks so tiny in the middle of that big thing!
She is her mother's daughter! Anyone that knew me as a kid knows that I was a thumb sucker (for a long time). Most doctors say that babies don't find their thumbs for a few more weeks so this could be completely random but it appears she may be a thumb sucker in the future. This is not the only time she has done it. I put her down for her nap a few days ago and when I walked in to check on her, her hand was by her face and her thumb was slobbery, ha-ha. I am not too sure how I feel about it because I know my mom had a very hard time breaking me of the habit. Nothing worked. BUT...on the bright side, there wouldn't be any late night searches for the pacifier (you can't lose your thumb) and I wouldn't need to stand next to her bassinet helping her hold in her thumb. In the end, it doesn't matter what I prefer, she is Leah and will do what she wants, ha-ha.
