A good friend of mine from high school, Amber, came down and we went shopping for an afternoon. She brought her little boy Mason. He was born August 24th so he is just about a month and 1/2 younger than Leah. He slept ALL day. Amber said that she takes him shopping quite often so he was used to all of the hustle and bustle. However, this was Leah's first shopping trip in her stroller (at a very busy time of the year). She stayed awake almost all of the afternoon and took it all in.
We took the kiddos to see Santa! The first thing Leah did was grab his beard! I had to assist in removing her from his lap because she had a grip on his beard that was too tight for the elf to successfully unlock, ha-ha. We thought it was funny, Santa -- not so much.
She finally took a cat nap when we stopped to get Mason's pictures taken in the mall. It didn't last long but I snapped a cute picture on my cell phone.
