We had our 21 week ultrasound today (at 21 weeks, 5 days). It was wonderful to see how much the baby has grown and watch him or her move around. Due to the amazing technology they can even tell us about the function and development of the vital organs. As far as they could see today, everything seems to be developing normally and we have a healthy baby. S/he weighed in at 1 lb, 1 oz. and is approximately 12 inches long.
This baby is definitely more laid back and relaxed than Leah was at this stage (of course she only stops moving to sleep). This baby was content and didn't move around much. Because of that, they were able to get great pictures of the organs, etc. but we don't have a whole lot of activity in the videos.
