Happy New Year

Wow, 2009 was a GREAT year! We have so many praises to God. It was so much fun watching Leah grow and experience new things. In the past year she has learned to sit up, crawl, walk, babble, feed herself, and become more independent all around. Leah has been full of personality from the very beginning but it has really developed in the past year. She has her moments of drama but still loves to cuddle. She is very interactive with those around her but also knows when she wants her quiet time. We have not found any foods that she doesn't like and she will still choose vegetables over sweets. She knows how to identify body parts but refuses to be a puppet and do it on command. Reading books is one of her favorite activities. She knows her routine. She enjoys sleep and doesn't fight naps or bedtime. She loves animals (sometimes too much according to our very understanding pugs). She has times that she wants mommy and other times that only daddy will do. We love her more than anything and are SO excited to welcome her little brother or sister into our family in 2010.
