We hope everyone had a Happy Easter! We will post pictures of Leah’s first Easter soon. In the meantime, I have a funny blog to share with you. You will find it if you clink on the link to “Musings from the World of Jewel” at the bottom of this page. The blogger is my sister, Jewel. She was on her laptop a few weekends ago when we were there for a visit and Leah was very curious. If you have some extra time, please feel free to read through other posts on her blog. She is an amazing writer and has a gift for making her readers reflect. Some posts are funny, some are informational and many are inspirational. Jewel is following her calling and preparing for the missions field. She is embarking on her next journey as she leads a group to Cambodia for several weeks beginning next month. My youngest sister, Jessie, will be in the Philippines this summer on a separate journey. These two young girls not yet 21 have been all over the world serving Him, teaching English, educating, playing sports with the children, and sharing their testimony. They have an understanding of life outside the privileges of the U.S. that many, including myself, will never truly comprehend. Please say a prayer for them as they prepare for their journeys and stay tuned for more updates.
