The babies of BKR!

Our firm had 4 new babies in 2010! There is just over 11 weeks between the oldest and the youngest. I love my family friendly office :)  We had our own little baby photo shoot at the firm picnic.

Once she was refreshed, she was ready to socialize.  Leah is no where to be seen in these pictures because her time was better spent at the playground/splash park area with her daddy.  She came back to the shelter for the occasional snack but played for the better part of 3 hours. 

Happy Birthday to Mommy

My wonderful husband planned a surprise 30th birthday party for me. Planning parties is completely out of his comfort zone which makes me appreciate it even more. My plan for the big birthday was to forget that it ever happened. A few gray hairs have made their grand appearance so I wasn't exactly thrilled with my age. BUT.....I wised up. What does it matter if I am 30?! That just means the good Lord has blessed me with 30 years of life and every new day is a new blessing. I can't complain, at all. At 30 I have a wonderful husband, 2 loving and adorable girls, our own home a career and too many friends and family to count. I wouldn't trade a thing!  Thank you to everyone that helped to celebrate (many of which managed to escape the camera because I was too busy saying hi to everyone to take a lot of pictures)  :)

Random July

Mallory is not a huge fan of laying on the floor where she can't see what is going on. She would MUCH rather hang out in her Bumbo!

Leah is a little mommy.  She really enjoys taking care of her baby dolls and helping with her little sister. 

Actually, having her feed the babies is a much less messy task than letting her feed herself!

Mallory experienced her 1st dip into the swimming pool at Grams' and Gramps'. She wasn't too sure what to think this time but we know that will be a different story next summer.

Sleeping Beauty

She does have legs, she just likes to sleep like a frog. She was in her downstairs pack n play. It was the 1st time I let her sleep on her belly. I stayed in the room and got so much done because she slept for 2 hours!Finnigan is sharing her boppy. I was working on the couch and she was ready for bed. I laid her on the boppy to put up the computer but she didn't budge. I do believe I carried her upstairs and put her in bed and didn't hear a peep for several more hours.
