Lots of Introductions!

Despite being 3 weeks early, Mallory weighed 7 ounces more than Leah did at birth. We are convinced most of it was in her cheeks. The extra weight must have been from the steroids the doctors had given her to strengthen her lungs because she lost 10 oz. in the hospital and came home at 6 lbs. 13 oz. Look at those cheeks!Lots of family and friends welcomed Mallory at the hospital. Mamaw, Papaw, Grandma and Grandpa pulled an all-nighter in the waiting room anticipating the big announcement.

(I am not sure how we missed a picture of grandpa with her)

She must have known that Aunt Jewel and Aunt Jessie were leaving for the summer because she entered the world JUST in time to see them both before they left. Aunt Jessie left the next morning for the Philippines and later that week, Aunt Jewel left for Mozambique Africa. They couldn't make it to the hospital when I was in labor because Grams was in bed with Malaria from a recent trip to Haiti but came up later that day. (and NO, Malaria isn't contagious)

Aunt Kayla couldn't wait to get her hands on her new niece!
I used to work with Kimberly and Marcia at Ruppert & Schaefer.

Becky with Mallory - one of her 1st visitors :)

Erika works with me. Her little boy, Zachary, was born a couple months before Mallory. He was a little one, having been born at 35 weeks. Our office is full of babies!
Melissa also came to visit - she is expecting Liam in the picture. (*he was born on May 21st*)

Amy and Travis - Amy made Mallory an adorable pair of booties! Cara is a pastor at our church, Geist Christian. Holding babies is a perk of the position :) It was very sweet of her to take the time to come visit and pray with us as we welcomed Mallory to this world.
