The BIG catch!

Jeff's 30th birthday was this year. As his gift, his mom and I sent him (along with his dad and brother) on a fishing adventure with Five Orr's Charter out of the East Chicago Marina. They caught about 150 lbs of salmon!!

While we were up north, we also spent a few days in South Bend with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Jason and Leah's cousins Chris and Evan.

Evan wanted to be sure that he was the first person that Leah woke up in the mornings so he could play with her before everyone else was up. She woke him up by crawling in bed with him and "patting" him on his head.

Leah was showing grandma the ropes with scratch n sniff books.

Leah even made friends with Gabbie, the cat. Up until then, Leah was not really a fan of cats. She is a dog person because cats can sneak up on her.
