HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEAH MARIE!!!!

Our baby girl is 1! In some ways it is very hard to believe that a year has passed. At other times I see very small babies and have a hard time remembering when she was that little. Leah had a big day!

It started with presents............






Then the zoo.............
We ran into Tanya (Leah's babysitter) with her friend and their kids. I am not sure who smiled more -- Leah or her friends Ethan and Megan.

Leah LOVES Ethan and gives him great hugs.

Ok -- back to the zoo!



It was pretty hot out so we stopped for a frozen lemonade. Of course she loved it and wanted more.


Leah picked out a giraffe at the gift shop. Look at her in her seat -- another big event of the day was turning her around so she faces the front! She loves being able to see what is going on.


And finally......the cake!! I made her a giant cupcake. The top was covered in Cool Whip so it was a little less sugary.






This next picture is when she got to the pink icing on the bottom. It was a bit sweeter and thicker than the Cool Whip she had been eating!

She quickly decided she liked it.
