Merry Christmas!

We are so blessed to have so many friends and family to spend time with over the holidays. Of course Jeff took a LOT of pictures to capture all of the special moments. Here are just a few:
(Christmas Eve at Aunt Regina's)

(At Mamaw and Papaw's)

(At Grams and Gramps')

(Play-Doh at the Garber's - thanks to Aunt Ashlin, Uncle Matt and Uncle Brandon - Leah now has a bunch of her own)
(At Grandma and Grandpa's)

Christmas morning with mommy and daddy

Jeff and I were really looking forward to seeing Leah on Christmas this year. She is still a bit young to grasp the concept of everything but we still started our traditions with her. She pointed to baby Jesus in the manger and said baby and read her Christmas books each night leading up to Christmas Eve.

Christmas morning was a lot of fun! She has grown SO much since last year when she sat up for the first time on Christmas morning.

She was so excited when she opened her new shoes that she had to put them on right away, it didn't matter to her that she was wearing footy pj's.

Reindeer Day at Tanyas!

Leah and the other girls had reindeer day -- how cute were they? We thought Leah would take the antlers off right away but it was the opposite. She wore them all day at Tanya's and I was lucky to get them off of her for her bath. I was also just the beginning of LOVING to have things on her head (Christmas gift bows, head bands, etc.).

Santa Claus!

Leah did well with Santa this year. She liked him better from a distance than on his lap but was still friendly with him.

Its that time of year.......

The photo shoot for the Sedberry 2009 Christmas card was a less than pleasant experience. Instead of doing it immediately after nap time, this mommy thought it would be ok to do it after dinner one evening. Let me tell you friends, that is a mistake that will never be repeated. While our cute little Leah is usually a ham, she is also stubborn. She wants to smile when she wants to smile, not when someone tells her too. Somehow we still managed to get a cute card but there were also some amusing (and not so amusing) moments captured by the camera. Thankfully the chaos took place in our own home and was not witnessed in public!

How about if you sit in a box?
Or get out of the box....whatever.
How about if you look at the tree?
Or....since you think you are a monkey -- you can try to climb the tree.
Do you want something to play with? Here, have a candy cane. That is festive and can be in the picture.

No, daddy's keys aren't a holiday decoration. Can mommy have those?

Quick capture this smile! Yes, I KNOW my fingers are in the way!
Just a few smiles and I promise we can be done.....

Leah and Kylie

Leah and Kylie are only a few weeks apart in age. It is fun to just sit back and watch them.
And see what they figure out.....

Kylie's little brother Liam is due only 5 days after Leah's little brother or sister!
